Austin and Sarelle Pendergraft co-founded and launched FamilyWorks Ministries in the fall of 2017. Both Austin and Sarelle graduated from Southeastern FWB College in 2007. The Pendergrafts have enjoyed working in various church ministries over the years. The Lord has given both Austin and Sarelle a tremendous passion to help hurting families across the nation. The Pendergrafts have two precious children, Raegan and Riley. When not traveling on behalf of FamilyWorks, the Pendergrafts faithfully attend Parkers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Greenville, NC.
Justin Smith joined the FamilyWorks team as vice president in January 2017. Justin serves as the Family Pastor at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro, NC. He received a BA in Pastoral Theology & Music from Southeastern FWB College. He oversees Sunday School, Growth Groups, and Men’s Ministry. He and his wife, Amy, lead the CONNECT young adult class. They have three boys, Jacob, Trenton, and Bennett. He enjoys coaching baseball, serving on the inner-city bus route, and spending time with his family.
Mark Stewart is an attorney in Greenville, NC. He practices in the areas of divorce and family law where he utilizes his experience in resolving family conflicts when he was the designated Domestic Violence prosecutor for Pitt County. Mark earned his BA in Mass Communications from Barton College in Wilson, NC. He then went to law school at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Mark and his family faithfully attend the Unity Free Will Baptist Church in Greenville, NC, where they serve in the AWANA’S children program. Mark and Brandy have two precious daughters Abigail and Sarah.
Kendall is an employee of DSM Dyneema of Greenville, NC. He is a graduate of Greenville Christian Academy and East Carolina University. Kendall is active in his community helping others through various organizations. Kendall works with FamilyWorks Ministries by assisting in various fundraising processes. He has a heart to see the ministry continue to grow and impact families across the country. He enjoys playing golf and wood working. Kendall and his wife Marsha have one precious daughter, Addie. They are faithful members of Parkers Chapel FWB Church where they serve in the choir and wherever else they are needed.
Vann has an AAS degree in Business Administration from Pitt Community College and a B.S degree in Business Administration from the University of Mount Olive. Beginning in 2001, he worked for 17 years in the Pharmaceutical industry. Just this year he started a new job with DSM Dyneema in the Biomedical division. While working at DSM Pharmaceuticals in 2005 that he met Cameron Letchworth. Vann and Cameron married in August of 2008. Vann and Cameron have two beautiful children; a 7-year-old little girl (Eden) and a five-year-old little boy (Easton). Vann and Cameron serve faithfully in the Awana ministry at Parkers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
